10 REASONS WHY YOU NEED A CHRISTMAS DECOR PLAN

Christmas decor plan

Too early to talk about Christmas? I don’t think so!

Ever heard of Christmas in July? It means someone’s thought about Christmas in July before ūüėÄ

What I know is happening right now is that a lot of families are preparing for the celebrations by planning and buying their food and groceries, you’re probably doing so too.

It won’t be bad to take a que, if you really want to achieve the ultimate feel in your home this Christmas.

It’s hard to convince some people that they need a Christmas decor plan. I think it’s one of the simplest things to do if one starts early.

Your space should always be designed, that’s the only way to make sure that it is useful, beautiful and different.

Planning your Christmas decor does not come without benefits, here are a few;

  1. YOU END UP WITH A BEAUTIFULLY PLANNED DECOR

Starting now means that you’ll have plenty of time set things going the way you want it. You can do things intentionally and nothing will appear as an after thought or a mistake.

  2. YOU EXPERIENCE LESS OVERWHELM

You can make your home look and feel good when your overwhelm is reduced. You can get the work out of the way and focus on your other great plans. Playing hostess for your family and guests when the holiday really sets in can happen smoothly without you worrying about whether your home looks impressive at all.

  3. YOU GET TO LEAVE THE CLUTTER OUT

Having a plan makes you also focus on treasure and not trash. Because Christmas is such a glittery season, it’s easy to get carried and swayed away by all that shimmers and shines. This is where having a plan comes in handy. If you follow it in detail, you will realize that you only bought exactly what you¬†needed.

  4. YOU SPEND WISELY

Because you will leave out clutter, you will be spending wisely. This is so simple, there’s no machine gun theory to this, it’s as simple as that.

  5. YOU END UP WITH A UNIQUE DESIGN

It’s easy to focus on your own unique thoughts and designs when you start early to plan for Christmas. You can surf the web for inspiration, create your own style,¬†setting, mood and feel for unique designs and decor all the time; starting early will definitely get you in line.

  6. YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO PLAN, TRY OUT AND MAKE CHANGES

What if you put it all together and it looks odd? And you don’t have time to change it before the guests start trooping in. If you start your plans early and you’re¬†not satisfied, you can change it.

  7. YOU GET A LASTING MOOD-LIFT

You put yourself early in a happy mood and inject the holiday spirit. When your mood is lifted, you can truly get yourself out of the way and help others. The season of Christmas is a time of cheer and  love. Gratitude is everything, its easy to be grateful when your mood is lifted.

  8. YOU CAN GET GIFTS FOR EVERYONE

Starting early and having a plan means you can buy gifts for everyone! Yay! This is because you have time to think about what they like. You get to be observant and listen to them speak and apply that information in your gift search. It is a season of giving!

Some people may not even have very long holidays..for example in the military they have just 2 days off; the 25th and the 26th of December (which not all of them get to observe because the nation cannot have a military that is asleep), something similar happens in the banks as well.

If you already know that this is your case, why be unhappy about it again this year? Why not just take care of your emotions and make yourself happy with your plans?

  9. YOU CAN INSPIRE OTHER PEOPLE

You can take pretty selfies, flood everyone’s timelines and get great comments from inspired people. People who know that life over there is difficult but someone is making the most of it. People who have had ideas like yours but have not been able to implement it will be energized.¬†It may even change a grumpy fellow¬†or a Grinch. In fact doing 1-8 above is already going to inspire somebody. You should go for it!

Go ahead, fill in the 10th benefit.lol. I’ll be waiting to read.

xoxo
